Wildflower Acres Farm is located in Madison County in North Florida. We are proud to be a Female owned and operated farm, raising and breeding goats and Anatolian Shepherd livestock guardian dogs. New Zealand Kiko Goats are our primary focus, but we also have a few Boers and Nigerian Dwarfs.
WAF's founder, Susan Manning spent many years in the corporate world before "retiring" to farm life. That means she's usually up at sunrise to tend to the herd before working on infrastructure, doing periodic health checks, studying goat health, looking for ways to improve the herd, and occasionally dealing with goat shenanigans!
A quote that sums up Susan's approach to her work has been hanging on her office wall for 20 years - “To fulfill a dream, to be allowed to sweat over lonely labor, to be given a chance to create, is the meat and potatoes of life. The money is the gravy.” ~ Bette Davis
